Martha is Funded!

hanks to a generous investor who attended our recent CareLink Reception at Meson Sabika, a new Microfinance entrepreneur’s dream has come true!

We often say that we don’t just provide Microfinance loans, we also provide HOPE! Well, thanks to you, an inspiring and determined woman, Martha, has received hope in the form of a Microfinance loan underwritten by good friends that attended our recent reception.

Martha and her husband are the hardworking parents of three children. But because of the difficult challenges they face in Honduras, they have been living on the jagged edge of poverty for years. Martha has always had a dream of starting a sewing and clothing business out of her home, to meet the needs of her community. Regardless of how poor people are, they still need basic clothing goods. Martha will re-furbish used clothing and also make simple new clothing with the sewing machine that her Microfinance loan will provide her.

Martha’s business will create a future of hope for her and her children…offering them an education and a chance for success.
