Microfinance pays forward! Next generation benefits from parent’s micro loans

I want to tell you a story. A few years ago, during a trip to Honduras, my team and I were on our way to visit one of our very first microfinance businesses, a woman who started a tortilla business nearly eight years ago. While driving through the dusty and winding city streets of Nueva Suyapa we spotted the woman’s daughter, Bessie, walking along holding a large stack of tortillas. She was making deliveries for her mom!
